The Sandtrap Pub & Grill joined the list of Niagara On The Lake Restaurants in June of 2012 when we finally realized our dream to open a Pub & Restaurant.
We were born and raised in Niagara On The Lake and grew up in a time when there were several places that catered to the locals. As time went by however businesses were being attracted to the tourism dollar and the number of establishments that locals could frequent with their friends and neighbours and enjoy great food and drink at economy prices were shrinking in numbers.
When we realized that we were driving 30 minutes to St.Catharines to take our wives out for dinner, it hit us. This was our opportunity to fulfill our dream and open a Niagara On The Lake Restaurant specifically designed for locals.
On the home page of our new website you’ll be greeted with a slideshow presentation that shows some great images of our establishment. On the same page you’ll find a map that shows our location. There are also links to our Facebook and Twitter Pages if you’d like to follow us there.
Since we are also a take-out restaurant we thought it would be a good idea to have a menu that you can download and print. This way you can easily place your take out orders by phone while viewing the menu.
As a community minded restaurant, we like to participate in several events plus run a few of our own. The “Events” page will keep you up to date on the things you won’t want to miss.
Then there’s our “Gallery”. We’re always taking pictures of our customers and friends as they celebrate their birthdays (check out our great pizza birthday hat), anniversaries, etc. So we thought we’d share those with you in our “Gallery”.
